The SBS 801 Parking Brake Warning System consists of an occupant sensor, an alarm mounted on a control module which contains a parking brake sensor and a super bright red blinking LED. A 5/32 tube is spliced into the parking brake air line using a slip fit tee, to determine if the parking is set or released. The occupant sensor, when adjusted to detect the presence of the driver, will sound the alarm and blink the LED if the driver leaves the seat. The system is activated only when the parking brake is released and does not draw any current when the brake is set. This system is adaptable to any type of vehicle. |
