Safety Brake Set systems are designed to set the parking brake or alert the driver the
brake is not set as he/she exits the cab of the vehicle. Generally, the system utilizes
two switches to activate the parking brake; a seat switch and a door switch are used to
insure that accidental setting of the brake is avoided. In some systems seatbelt switches
have been utilized with a door switch. An anti-theft key switch is available to lock the
parking brake in an "ON" position. Brake activation by engaging the PTO, opening
of trailer or tanker doors and various other options are available.
